Senior ABAP Developer

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs in ECC6 for a highly customized product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver tailored solutions.
- Implement SD enhancements such as user exits, BADIs, custom screens, menus, and function modules.
- Work with SD pricing procedures, including the creation and modification of VOFM custom routines.
- Optimize and maintain existing ABAP code to ensure performance and reliability.
- Provide expertise in pool programming and object-oriented programming to enhance system functionality.
- Work with Bill of Materials (BOM) concepts at the sales order level, ensuring seamless integration with custom SAP functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to custom developments.
- Stay updated on SAP ABAP development best practices and continuously improve development processes.
Requirements
- Development Experience in ECC6: Proven experience working on SAP ECC6, with expertise in custom ABAP development.
- Pool Programming: Hands-on experience with pool programming, creating efficient and reusable code.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming within the ABAP framework.
- SD Enhancements: Experience implementing user exits, BADIs, screens, menus, and function modules to enhance SAP SD functionalities.
- SD Pricing Procedures: Deep understanding of SAP SD pricing procedures and their configuration.
- VOFM Custom Routines: Experience in creating and modifying VOFM custom routines for pricing and other enhancements.
- BOM Concepts: Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) at the sales order level, ensuring correct implementation within custom solutions.
As A Plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
